Steam issue affects N.J. service at Port Authority Bus Terminal

Update: At 1:58 p.m., the Port Authority reported the South Wing had reopened, with some gates closed on the fourth floor. All service is returning to their scheduled departure areas, but passengers can expect delays and should check with their bus carriers for more information.

Bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal’s south wing in midtown Manhattan is suspended due to a Con Edison steam leak.

The steam leak closed the south wing, Port Authority officials said in an alert on X. NJ Transit reported that buses traveling into and out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal have 15-minute delays.
